Submit a Review"I love fixing things that are broken and bringing them back to working condition. I especially enjoy the jobs that other companies attempted to repair but were unsuccessful. Because in many instances, I was able to correctly repair the machine and save the customer from having to pay for a new unit. Although, I hate the repairs that end up being more cost effective to replace due to part availability or cost of part exceeding price of unit."

"Expect that you will run 10+ calls a day plus 3+ hours of travel time."
What do you like about working at Sears?
"It was my first real full-time job after the Air Force and HVAC tech school. We did receive some commission on sales."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do your best to find a job somewhere else besides Sears, where they will appreciate the work you do."
What don't you like about working at Sears?
"I didn't like long hours, poor management, no raises, high employee losses every year, irate customers, too many processes to follow, being hounded about productivity %, dealing with third party warranties on the phone, and long travel to and from your call locations."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Wake up and listen to your employees when they say they are tired and worn out."
What do you like about working at United States Navy?
"Training that is provided, and skills needed to be successful in a non-military environment."

"If you are looking to start off you career, the Navy is a great way to do that."
What don't you like about working at United States Navy?
"Deployments are long and stressful, especially because you are away from your family for months at a time."

"I cannot suggest too much for management due to the fact that I am a government employee."
