"I highly recommend working at Neiman Marcus."
What do you like about working at Neiman Marcus?
"Although Neiman's is the same store wherever you go, I am certain that every store will have a different experience, as this depends strongly on the GM and management as a direct result of how the store is run. So, I am only speaking about my personal experience in the Orlando store as a department manager for the contemporary department. I absolutely enjoyed my time at Neiman Marcus and loved the people who worked in that store. I really liked the company's philosophy and how they treated their employees, but in any job environment, it's the people who make you love your job. And for me, that's exactly what it was; of course, it helped that I respected and adored my boss and all the executive team members."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be yourself... have passion... be honest!"
What don't you like about working at Neiman Marcus?
"I can honestly say... nothing."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Have good work ethics, be honest, loyal and work hard. Never ask someone to do something you haven't already done yourself. Most importantly, take care of the people who work for you, and in return, they will work even harder for you."

"Not a bad place, but requires a little too much flexibility. It's retail!"
What do you like about working at The Sports Authority?
"The people are great. There is always something going on, so managing time is of the essence. Always interesting."
What don't you like about working at The Sports Authority?
"As a member of management, we are required to be a little too flexible. To the degree of having our schedule changed quite frequently with little or no notice. I really am looking to get back to what I do best, outside sales. This doesn't offer me to the opportunity to do this. The compensation needs help. We do a great deal for the amount we are paid compared to other similar positions."
