"Its a bad place to work to advance any sales career. You can and are terminated without cause under the guise of at will and given no notice, no reason, no nothing for your unjustified termination! I would discourage any qualified sales professional to seriously consider passing on a job offer with this company-- dont get desperate to work for this company... There is so much better out there."

"Take lots and lots of advanced management courses -- just because you have CEO after your name doesnt mean you know squat about running a company and especially in the case of School Specialty-- how to work with people! Get a clue or sink with your outdated, antiquated ship!"

"Horrible leadership, lack of direction from middle and upper management, mantatory furloughs, no formal training for sales reps, ability to grow and think about new and exciting ways to grow your tertitory is not part of the management culture and highly discouraged. Overall a very negative place for a sales professional who cares about working at his/her maximum potential."
