2.9 You have to believe in your staff and understand that not everyone is going to do things the way you want. The regular employees work is building a relationship and letting them get what they need their clients to do in a positive manner in their own way. When I was told to do something differently, I was quick to do it (improvement), but was criticized that 'We can't keep telling you how to do things' after 1 time correction. The worst part of it is that the clients/consumers take a back seat to the company politics which is not how it is supposed to be. The company is built and recieves good reviews only if our clients are satisfied. Compared to other group home agencies, Seek Home Inc. has too many rules and 1 bad egg at the top that makes it impossible to be friends and an effective mentor to clients according to this woman's method of leadership (If you want to call it that). Respect is earned from your employees , not demanded.
