What do you like about working at Royal Auto Credit?
"Early on I enjoyed the freedom to run the dealership how I saw fit, but upon new ownership, my role dramatically changed. Still, I enjoyed training staff and running the dealership itself. I also enjoyed meeting new customers as I am a people person."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I wouldn't recommend anyone go work for that company now. I left on very bad terms and even had to take them to arbitration just to get my unemployment. They have even told some of my former customers that I stole from them."
What don't you like about working at Royal Auto Credit?
"Having to call customers to collect payments. The new owner (although the owner's son was great) didn't care about the store at all."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest that they offer benefits and learn to better communicate with their staff."

"I worked at the United States Division, not Canada. I liked the work I did and the technical aspects of the job that I was able to learn. I very much enjoyed the international climate of the company and the opportunity to meet and talk with people from many different countries."

"Some decisions did not seem to always be well thought out and hurt us later."

"Customer interaction is the best. It allows you to have face to face time with customer."

"If hired, follow the company policies to the letter. It's very easy to make a mistake."

"The security policy could use some work pertaining to detaining shoplifters and women working graveyard shifts."

"Many thanks to Robert, Store Manager in La Jolla, CA for being such a great boss."

"They didn't let the people closest to the customers enough opportunities to help serve the customer. Also the politics that goes with retail management."

"Pay some attention to your employees, they hear what customers want and need."
