"Swedish Med Center and HCA is a money hungry company. They sacrifice patient and employee safety and satisfaction to make more money for management. Not to mention they think the job should come first in your life and not family, you get 3 call-ins A YEAR even though you work with sick people all day and if you have sick kids at home and you call in to take care of them they will harass you for it. If you don't come in on days off and join committees you get docked on your already insulting raise."

"Healthcare relies on Medicare payments for Elderly patients. With Medicare reimbursement reductions, Hospitals are laying off employees."

"Mergers with other hospitals to help bring costs down will require the merging of teams and additional layoffs, so determine your top talent and keep your head high."

"You actually are interviewing with Providence Medical Center now, a Catholic institution."

"We were in the basement and it was musky smelling."

"Perhaps cutting your $1.5 million salary would have saved more money than eliminating my job."

"Did not care for my replacement immediate supervisor. (note:the department had a 100% personnel exit with this supervisor and I was one of the last to leave)"

"None...except for my department the hospital was great, and I would love to go back if Radiation Therapy supervisor changed."

"At the time it was an organzation that realized it needed to invest in it's Technology Infrastructure to support a First Rate Health Care Organization. Exciting time to work in the IT Department."

"Not enough focus on the development and management of support standards, tools and process to mitigate risk. More fire fighting than proactive work."
