"Great benefits. Very busy Hospital in downtown SA, Tx"
"I have worked with Baptist for over 2 years now moving from a hospital setting to an outpatient imaging center and the entire dynamic changed. My supervisor and director treat you like family and are always allowing their employees growth and opportunity. Big ideas and goals are within reach and I've always had an opportunity to advancement."
"I found Tenet Health to be an excellent work environment. The mission statement was demonstrated by the staff."
"Tenet is a major healthcare company owning hospital and surgery centers across the country. The current top leadership have no healthcare experience which makes it difficult to grow and make decisions that will benefit local facilities."
"I’ve worked for Tenet Health for 16 months and in that time I’ve witnessed a strong commitment to quality and patient safety. I’ve also witnessed my organization adapt to a quickly changing environment. I would recommend Tenet Health to anyone that wants to join a progressing organization."
"Great people, with a family based environment. The Corporation itself is fairly old school regarding culture and benefits, but the work atmosphere within was amazing. Tenet could stand to modernize a bit, both in management practices, company policies and use of technology."
"I enjoyed my time with Tenet prior to its reorganization."
"Company needs to improve their technology, very behind the times."
"I worked with Tenet Healthcare for over four years. I have worked on the clinical and operations for specific markets within the clinical space. Tenet is nationwide and owns and operates hospitals, surgical centers, and physician practices. Improvements could be in Technology. They are antiquated in a lot of processes. Bringing in better technology would highly benefit Tenet Healthcare"
"Was a remote employee, poor initial orientation to role and company, priorities constantly changed"
"If they do not do reorg often will be great"
"I have worked for Tenet Healthcare for over five years now, the department I work in has continuously changed and unfortunately not for the better. There is a lot of favoritism by upper management and talking about others in an unprofessional manner. This along with many positions being outsourced oversees and the head of the company not being transparent about the intentions of moving the corporate office and where the new location will be or if my department will continue to exist, have made for a stressful environment."
"Tenet has always been a great place to work. A recent change in executive leadership has brought morale down a bit, but overall the company remains strong."
What do you like about working at Tenet Healthcare?
"Some of the employees were team focused and we worked well together."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't! Although I wish I could say that healthcare had better options at other systems, the truth is that healthcare is now all about the bottom line. Patient care is an afterthought from administration. I know, I was in administration, one level from the Chief Nursing Officer."
What don't you like about working at Tenet Healthcare?
"Employees are a number and it is all about the bottom line. Patients are the last concern. It is a prime example of what healthcare should not be and where it is heading."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Each Tenet Facility is different and managed independently. Atlanta Medical Center has a strict structural climate. There is little team focus. The executive team are constantly blaming each other and extending the knife in the back attitude. It was sickening."
