"Been with TransWood for about 3 years now. It's a good company that has work available for me. I've worked at other companies but I would get overlooked when loads came available. I'm here to work and TransWood puts me to work. I like the home time, I'm a company driver that's home several times per week. Benefits are decent. The trucks are being upgraded as well so that's a move in the right direction. But when I've had issues with my equipment the mechanics were on top of it."
"I've worked for Transwood now for about 3 years. The people I work with have been real good to me thus far. I've had a few issues, but they usually try to make it right. I like the home time here. Thus far it has been as promised with the exception of one time when they were short of drivers. The benefits are decent too. Honestly, I like having the insurance and the 401K. I wasn't looking for that a few years ago, but now I'm getting older and these bones are starting to creek know what I mean. I'd have to give them 4 stars, but that's only cause they could pay me better. But all and all its a good place for steady work and steady paychecks."
"Overall, this company has a great atmosphere at the terminal I work out of. The salary is not as great as one might like, but most companies are like that. The insurance benefits are lousy. The company is self-insured by the owner. Deductibles are extremely high for a company of its size. The cost of the insurance is medial. On average you pay less for prescriptions without the insurance than you pay with the insurance."
"Positive in all aspects."
