1.9I just completed a 9 month, seasonal position as a Hazmat Truck Driver with United Suppliers-the last time I will ever work for them. If you're looking to work, pay taxes, struggle to keep up with your lowly basic living expenses, such as eating, or looking to be cheated, nickeled, and dimed to death, and practically live on the verge of being on the street while doing so, then this company is for you. If you like being lied to before you're hired and then have the opposite done to you once you start, deal with a miserable, nit picking management that specializes in nothing but attitudes and a smart alec way of talking and dealing with you, then this company fits you just fine. If you're looking to be available full time and yet, get paid part time hours with no benefits, bonuses or any kind of incentives, then this company is for you. Otherwise, find another company. After 17 years as a driver, I can honestly say there is (nothing) on earth about United Suppliers to like in any way shape or form. I found management to be the most dishonest in the business, which also makes them the worst. This company is for old, successful, retirees who just want to make a few dollars to pass the time of day-not younger people who actually need to make money to (eat) every day. Do yourself a favor and never, ever apply or work for this company. They're outdated and it is the most depressing location I've ever had to report to. The gloomy surroundings make you feel like you're buried underground in an enormous coffin. Dealing with them is a waste of time and time is too valuable to waste with a company that consistently underpays and eventually, cheats you out of every dime they can.
