"professional/manager"

What do you like about working at TASC?

"Nothing - they took over the contract from a decent company that I was with for years."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared to do it for just a pay check and keep an ear out for better companies/opportunities and changes to your contract. Once your contract is done you are done"

What don't you like about working at TASC?

"You are a butt in the seat to be billed. No support to the employee. You are a resource they will use you up and discard. I know nothing about the corporate culture"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Care about your employees - it's a small world and TASC isn't a big company. Employees are your most vital resource - treat them poorly and you will fail."

Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"Truthful, but yet rememorable"

What do you like about working at PBS?

"It was a lot of fun to go on the road with the crew and experience real life television at its best. Video wise, WBGU-PBS offers a huge array of learning experiences. Not only did I learn how to become a wonderful webmaster, but a television video editor as well."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be positive, keep your head high and most of all, never doubt yourself."

What don't you like about working at PBS?

"Sometimes live productions can be nerve racking, especially on live air. But, all in all, it was a learning experience that I will remember for the rest of my life."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The only one I can think of is to maybe think about hiring students after graduation. I know it has happened a few times, but I think it might save the state some money to hire slightly cheaper, but sometimes better workers as well."
