Submit a Review"I love learning html and CSS as well as WordPress. I would like to be better with programming and I have taken classes for it but my time is limited with my additional responsibilities outside website design and management. That is probably the only downfall of my current position. If I could devote all of my time to website development, WordPress with additional training in PHP, JavaScript, etc. I feel I would be even more affluent in the language of web design."
What do you like about working at McDaniel College?
"As an alum I'm familiar with the area and people."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Plenty of higher-education politics and tape that gets in the way of certain things. A lot of people who are happy as is, not necessarily advancing or innovating. Stagnating."
What don't you like about working at McDaniel College?
"Expected duties of me that are outside of my actual job description. I offered up an extra skill once, and now it's expected of me without any compensation. I don't feel driven or any incentive."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be more understanding, trusting of my department to do their job. Communicate in a less critical way."

"It is out of business so I do not think they will be doing any interviews."

"The only thing I did not like was that it went out of business."

"To manage the team and the companies money better, that would be the only thing."

"I would recommend that they be able to learn and understand that there will be a requirement for a lot of your personal time to be invested into it."

"At this company I did not like the lack of internal communications."

"I would recommend they be more efficient in their communications and have a coherent idea of what their goals are."

"I loved the people I was with and the work that we did for the community and ourselves."

"There were no interviews, but sell yourself, not the person you think that we'd want you to be"

"Sometimes there were some differences between members but we always worked them out like adults."

"Keep setting higher goals in order to get the best quality men."
