"I have worked for Caremedic since 2006. The merger changed the culture of our department. I have given it 4 years but it has resulted in more negatives than positives. Instead of more money from a large corporation, we seem to have less to spend. There is a bureaucracy than inspires sitcoms on cable. There is a power struggle that I am not directly involved with that preoccupies my departments and business unit's leaders. Instead of feeling more secure at my current position, I feel less."

What do you like about working at CareMedic?
"I enjoyed my manager, he was someone that I trusted and he trusted my knowledge and my ability to work with no supervision. As a whole company, there are issues that need work with the supervision and how employees are treated. The company has since been bought out by Ingenix and hopefully the environment will change for the employees still there."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If they are just looking for employment to pay their bills then it is okay. Otherwise I would suggest that they find employment elsewhere. This company has the biggest turn over of employees leaving the company."
What don't you like about working at CareMedic?
"The disrepect of the supervisors and how employees are treated which I stated on my exit interview."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"To be open to the employees that are actually doing the work and to better evaulate the supervisors that are put into positions that they are not qualified for."

"Contiuned employment from corporate raider takeover"

"Heartless corporate raiders who herded employees in a central room and annouced individual fireing names, walking them out immediately with out any notice.Did not live up to many promised, signed contracts with clients."

"Live up to your promised contracts with clients and treat employees well"
