"I have worked for Ann Taylor LOFT for one year now, and I have found this company and its employees to be incredibly strong and welcoming. As an employee it's important to feel comfortable where you are working, this company truly makes the employees and its customers feel like family. It's a hard working company and allows you to feel like you truly make a difference in the company. You get trained for your position but you also get to experience different levels of work, truly making you a well rounded employee, and supervisors acknowledge the work you do and help you if something goes wrong. It's truly a great company to work for."
"I've worked at Ann Taylor Loft since 2011. The brand has changed promotional beliefs over the last 4 hours and has lost client loyalty. If Loft is able to regain clients based on fashion choices they have a chance or attracting top talent."
"I loved working for Ann Taylor Loft. It is a fantastic company that hires only genuine women to support and promote their brand."

"Don't do it! If you must, though, negotiate availability and starting pay, because if you start out low paying, you won't get a raise to what you deserve, so make sure you negotiate a decent starting salary."
What don't you like about working at Ann Taylor LOFT?
"Management veers between individuals who are unprofessional, unskilled, and do not know how to get things done, to other individuals who micromanage and are unprofessional in that they treat those they manage without respect. The atmosphere tends to veer between just coasting, to triage to panic that our numbers aren't being met and a manic push to get them to do so."

What do you like about working at Ann Taylor LOFT?
"Honestly, discount of 40% off wasn't bad, but their clothes cost more than they were worth. If you are obsessed with their brand, go for it. If not, this is not where you want to work."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Yes, there are plenty of stores at the outlet mall - American eagle, Under Armour, even Reebok. Go apply at one of them and you will have a way better experience for working for The Grove City Outlets. I love to shop and am always friendly with sales associates as I'm shopping, and I can say first hand this is one of the worst to work for. American Eagle is great with their employees, and they have great managers too."
What don't you like about working at Ann Taylor LOFT?
"Managers are unpleasant, rude, and snotty to their employees. They are bad at scheduling people's hours. They do have their pets, but others get little to none some weeks. It is a very unreliable place to be working. They expect you to wear their clothes yet don't require to, but you can tell the more you spend the more you work. You don't make enough to buy a lot of clothes, and it's one of those places where they expect your entire paycheck to go to their clothes from their store. You only get four hours at a time, which isn't worth the drive if you don't live close by."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The management currently working there is not the best to have to work hand and hand beside. They're unpleasant and seem only worried about themselves. They should be more in touch with their employees and treat work more like work and a working environment. They need to come back down to earth and realize they're not the highest person, considering they're more of a joke that does nothing but play instead of being a boss. They also demand a lot for as little as they do."
What don't you like about working at Ann Taylor LOFT?
"It was very small retail square footage for the volume it produced. When the store was built, it was designed for under 1.2 m when it actually did over 2 m annually."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Try to develop your associates for promotions instead of always looking outside of the company first."
