"I've worked with Bimbo Bakeries for almost a year and it's been one of the most stressful jobs I have had due to lack in teamwork and management. This was not a happy place!"
"Great opportunity to grow"
"I worked at Bimbo Bakeries since 2018. The job is very rewarding because you are literally feeding America. You get a great deal of satisfaction seeing and talking with customers and store employees. Bimbo Bakeries really cares about its employees. they have many programs to help with assistance if needed, and if the company can I help you, the union you work for will. I would recommend Bimbo Bakeries for anybody who is a go-getter and loves to be on the move all day."
"I worked for Bimbo Bakeries USA since 2011. The company is a well run and has some great Brands offered to consumers. The product innovation is very good for the consumers goods segment."
"I worked for Bimbo Bakeries USA all my life, is a Company with Diversity and Inclusion, very ethical and treats his employees with respect and makes them feel like part of the business and in-home."
"The company is interesting in many different ways. There are cons and pros of course in any company so it’s all about what the individual or employee can handle"
"My position as the bread territory distributor assistant manager, allows me to do the work with very minimum supervision, and only reports to the manager. I've learned how to run a business and what it takes. The plus is that you get to meet plenty of people and establish relationships. The cons are the working hours which start around 1am until finish and it's harder to balance work/lifestyle. Overall I learned a lot in the management spectrum."
"I've worked here for several years. The people here are very good and helpful in explaining the job. The overall company does a decent job. However, there is definitely room for improvement especially with employee morale. Also, some processes seem a little antiquated and could be greatly improved upon."
"First let me say this is a great job. For someone like me with no college education I make good money and have good benefits. The downside of this job is working with our management team. Micro managing is the theme here. The big problems never get addressed and get swept under the rug so corporate never finds out."
"Management is very rude at outlet store. Product old and outdated. Buyer beware. Company tends to demean people instead of helping with an overall goal. I think the customers are the ones that are not being treated right here and it shows. Need more promotions and the right attitude by management, instead of put downs and innuendos. Don't work here. They don't know the meaning of bimbos and it shows. The company could be better if they just had the understanding of people and their needs for great service and respect of others. I agree with most of the reviews here, much better attitudes and respect needed here."
"I have worked for BBU for nearly 6 years, and have had the best manager to work for and another that was the worst manager. The company fudges their numbers internally, and I refuse to do so."
"I recently discovered that the person before me had faked the data, and received a promotion. I have never, nor will I ever, fake data to get ahead."
"Strong brands and great work schedule."
"Work from Bimbo Baker's for over six years, work life balance is poor. You are required to wear many, many hats and be responsible for several departments without the proper support."
