Director of Operations

"Typical work days depend on individual work ethics and allow you to gain insight into the familial system from a micro, mezzo, and macro framework. I have learned a plethora of information regarding the clinical and administrative roles impacting direct social work services. I was initially hired as an IIC and have been prompted into management where I interconnect my clinical expertise and administrative knowledge to providing direct clinical interventions while supporting the team members in navigating their job expectations. Fortunately, at GFG, we create an intimate workplace culture and strive towards supporting individual and collective needs of our providers and families we serve. However, the hardest part is trying to accommodate all of the individual needs of the providers as some are unaccessible and unavailable at times. The most enjoyable part of the job is the direct insight into multidimensional needs impacting clients; which allows a clearer assessment into presenting problem areas while sharpening clinical skills, job growth/expansion, and flexibility in scheduling."
