Georgia Perimeter College is a highly respected two-year school. The college has five campuses located throughout the metropolitan Atlanta, Georgia area where the school is more commonly called GPC. The DeKalb Board of Education and local citizens founded the school in 1958. The college's original goal was to provide convenient access to higher education for the area's high school graduates.
