"Even though I have been with my current employer just over 8 months. I did recently spend over 24 year in the US Army, retiring in October, where I learned how to be the leader I am today. Although I have a great job I am grateful for I am always looking for a greater challenge. I currently have my Associates Degree but am working towards my Bachelor's and hope to be completed within the next years end."

"There is limited growth within the company; if you aren't a part of the supervisor 'friends' list. And it's is a short list There is a very high turnover , dishonesty about the products, the company is solely about money not quality, unsafe work practices, slow response time for everything, not a culture of inclusion It's almost cult like when it comes to management, the fear is nauseating I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone."

"I was thrilled to finally get on with this company as it took months and multiple interviews before I was hired as a temp. I was hired full time 3 months in. Once I had a good knowledge of the system I began doing very well and was promoted to a higher queue which gave me even more opportunities to sell more to our customers. Once I started doing well the work place became a hostile environment. The managers did nothing to stop the intimidation. It was miserable."

"Free bland coffee and ice cream all day, everyday. That's it unless you like to be treated like an idiot."

"Run! I wouldn't even recommend this place to YOUR dog. Run, run, run!"

"Managers couldn't think their way out of a paper bag with a blow torch"

"None. It wouldn't do any good. Too much grandstanding and managers actually telling you that you need to respect them."

"consider this company only if you are extremely desperate, for you will be treated worse here than any place else in the state"

"abusive management, massive outsourcing of white-collar positions, all the A players have left"

"employees are always refered to as interchangeable and easily replaced warm bodies, 55-60 hour weeks have been the norm for the last 5 years."

"local recruiters stopped working with this company about 3 years ago"

What don't you like about working at Hach Co.?

"for last couple years they have been outsourcing both blue and white collar jobs at a rate of one or two people a week, as you can imagine morale is terrible"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"pretty soon the only people who will be left will be the CEO and Janitor, and all your intellectual property will be in China/India"

"average wages and large corporation benefits plus an in house cafeteria"

"don't, they burn you out then toss you out, employee turnover is 3rd highest in the state, local recruiting companies will not work with them"

"last two years has seen a massive outsourcing of all positions, both blue and white collar"

"people are treated far more abusively than they were when I was in the military"
