"The industry I have been in for the last 25 years has gone soft and clients are abandoning that media, although there are many other options available through the tunnel. As a previous Director with budgeting experience, I was aware that layoffs were inevitable, so was not surprised when I received the call. So, my industry may be softening, but my love of managing and encouraging people has not."
"Sometimes it's tough to find new clients, but when you do, it's great to begin to market them to the community."
"I love advertising and more so the automotive industry. I do not believe in print advertising. It is not the best solution for an advertiser overall. Not to mention that it is much more expensive to do print with no true ROI. However I understand that in some industries, the older generation does not always have a full understanding of the Digital Media."

"base pay and commission and benifits were good plus 401k"

"be careful , meatgrinder mentality in the office , if considering employement keep job search going if possible ,"

"no job security , very tense atmosphere in the chantilly va office managers under a lot of pressure , 95%sales turnover in the five years, always being threaten of being written up"

"there is none,district managers under constant pressure they in a continual hiring mode in the chantilly office"

"I like the exposure I've received to many forms of advertising."

"Be specific on what you want and make it known up-front."
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"I feel that the management needs to be more interactive, and not only when a sale is closed."

"I feel that the managers should play an active role in new business accounts, from start to finish."

"I liked the flexibility of being able to call on any business you wanted to make a sale"

"be yourself. make sure you ask specific questions about the payment structure."
What don't you like about working at The Greensheet?
"They lie about how much money you can make. They claim the salary is between $65,000-$90,000. This is a lie. The base for an inside sales rep is $30,000. They pay you 3% on the money you collect when...and only when your weekly revenue averages at least $3,000 for a month. They do not expect you to reach this level until after the first year you work there.The moral is very low in the office with little to no motivation from management. The incentives they give are between $1-$5 for new business sold. Or sometimes they let you wear jeans, this is far and in between."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management needs to try to inspire and motivate people more. Stop micromanaging. Treat the people that work for them like valuable assets instead of the hired help/warm bodies."

"Focus on Digital Media Sales and Experience. Any Internet Advertising experience will pe a plus."

"Micro management styles and fear management had about of making decisions."

"Compensation package changes often, micro managed, selling a product thats usage has been declining for years with no end in sight (yellow pages)"

"Shift more focus on the perception of the product, be more innovative in online options for customers."
