Mixed Signal Design Engineer at Teradyne
in Boston, MA

Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"Teradyne is way past its prime and it is sinking fast"

What do you like about working at Teradyne?

"There were a lot interaction between different teams which opens up learning opportunities if you can manage to form personal connections. The tuition reimbursement plan was really good before they decided to cut it just like all other benefits..."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"All you can get out of Teradyne is temporary employment. This is NOT a career. Try to get a career while you are working..."

What don't you like about working at Teradyne?

"Constant layoffs. During my 13 quarters in Teradyne, I saw 12 layoffs. One per quarter just like clockwork."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Company is getting smaller with layoffs but big company mentality and process remains. The organization was extremely top-heavy because they never layoff or demote managers. Unless they learn to act like a small company, because it is A SMALL company now, the bureaucracy and company politics may be the end of everything."
