What do you like about working at Holiday Stationstores?
"Nothing. The store makes more in one day than they pay me in a year. Your Xmas bonus is a $25 gift card, this year they sent out 2 on accident, so they asked us to give it back. This is what you get from a company that grossed 3.6 billion last year, and sits at #106 on the Forbes 500."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't, just don't. The pay scales they show for this place are a blatant lie. I make less than 10,000 a year. The drop down chart won't even let me select my pay grade because it's too low."
What don't you like about working at Holiday Stationstores?
"Everything. Nothing more fun than working Xmas, alone, with no breaks for an extra 20 dollars."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Better pay, more hours, breaks, a lunch, a chair to sit down for a sec. . . I could go on forever."

"Although frustrating sometimes, there were mostly good times."

"Promotion though limited, was awarded to those who did their job well."

"Do not be discouraged by lack of communication between upper management and the rest of the company employees."
What don't you like about working at GCA Services Group?
"The general manager isolated the group from upper management. Upper management ignored feedback and enforced policies that made sense on paper but were impractical on the field."

"Accept feedback from the field and use it to improve on policies."

"Delay in getting the raw materials and our office has nothing to do with sourcing of products"

"Despite the recent growth in the last 2 years they're still offering a low wage."

"Increase the pay rate and bring back the overtime pay also."

"Communication is a problem where I work. Management always seems will to listen, but not to follow up with what they have heard."

"Anyone can say, thank you. If you want people to believe that you are really thankful show them that you are thankful."
