"I really didn't have a problem with the company at all."

"I suggest that they keep up to date with their employees and their expenditures."

"I have really good co-workers and a good supervisor and director."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I feel transportation is a means to an end. It is not a great career. Good for high school and college students. Not so much for a 26 yr old looking to get married and eventually raise a family."
What don't you like about working at Crothall?
"I dont feel challenged with the work I do. I am bound to a pager. I am always going from task to same task everyday. I don't feel like I have much freedom or control. The company is constantly concerned with our numbers. I much prefer jobs or tasks where you actually see the fruits of your labor. Where you actually see some results. Not just numbers and percentages. I don't really feel like my job is that important overall. I also don't feel that people take me very seriously sometimes."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would give fair wages to the employees. I feel like the work we do is easily worth $10.00 hr. The department is constantly on the go. I feel like there are many other departments that make a whole lot more money than we do yet aren't near as busy. Not to mention the state of the economy. It's extremely difficult to live out on your own making $8.50 hr. It would be nice to have affordable medical insurance as well. Also, the company is always so concerned with numbers. It's hard to please the company and still give the patients proper attention/care/compassion."

"The people that worked there seemed interesting and had a sense of community."

"When you interviewing make sure to convey your enthusiasm for the position your applying for."
What don't you like about working at Detroit Medical Center?
"The position itself was very repetitive with no chance to learn new tasks."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would make vast improvements to the building itself so it didn't seem so much like a funeral home."
