"This is a review for the Valencia East campus security department. I had to deal with a toxic coworker for several years and the senior management didn't do a thing. Worse, the last time I reported the coworker, director "L" transferred me to another campus and cut my hours. He then strung me along for months leading me to believe that he was going to transfer me back and resolve the situation when he had no intention of doing so. I've also seen another coworker openly insult a supervisor several times. Everyone in the office knew about it, the supervisor knew about it, but again senior management did nothing. They allow bad behavior. Reporting it is pointless. Unless you do something illegal you won't get written up or fired. Save yourself the trouble and don't work here, find somewhere else."

"Lack of direction and flow of information. How do I work my way up, or forward or in any direction that is slightly positive"

"I don't see myself as a person running the college if It came down to it maybe introducing more technology."

"Love my immediate supervisor and my team. We're the creative side to IT and we share ideas and share the vision of supporting the college's faculty."

"Top level management is oblivious in knowing what we do for the college and its faculty members. They don't like the proactive approach to working on projects. Mostly a reactive mode."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Trust that their team (us) are working to fulfill the mission set forth by the management team (them). Give us the path and let us work to achieve those goals, and have a contingency when the plan isn't working in that direction. Don't be afraid to change."
