"I began my Air Force career in 1989, one month out of high school and ended in 1997. I would never change joining the military and the experience it gave me for life. War is never fun, but it gave me a chance to fight for those who could not. Life has never been the same since my days in the Air Force, but it gave me a foundation for the rest of my days. I would definitely recommend a young person to give back by joining and fighting for their country if they can. It is a life changing experience that no one can take away."

Working at United States Air Force in Hill AFB, UT: 8 Employee Reviews

"I started at Hill as a PAQ intern out of college. Having my master's paid for and a career all in one sounded like the dream. I was disappointed to discover my position as an engineer was something I could have done out of high school. Such as being the "PowerPoint next button pusher" for a year, and taking irrelevant trainings for hours. After being "broken in" I am still not doing any fulfilling Engineering work. Mostly locating replacement parts, being sent on wild goose chases between departments, and fighting red tape. It took over a year of asking "what are my job responsibilities" before someone was able to give me an answer."

"I served in the Air Force for two years. They taught me many valuable life skills and lessons. I picked up a decent amount of experience pertaining to maintenance. I met many amazing people and had some great experiences I would never trade. The Air Force was a great opportunity and a great employer. It was definitely a worthwhile endeavor. I would recommend them. But my time was done and I've had to move on."

"I originally took this job in order to reduce my commute time. When they hired me on, they talked of the fair amount of coding I would be able to perform. However, as time progressed, it turned out the job was 80% documentation and 20% coding. The ability to provide adequate resources to complete the desired tasks is poor, at best. The upper management has no ability to listen to the people under them, and have only increased in negative morale. My coworkers are good people that know how to work hard."
