What do you like about working at Pacific Capital Bancorp?

"Some of the people were fantastic and very bright. Most of the people in IT were competent, but many have been there a long time and have not had exposure to many other technologies."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If they are hiring, I would be surprised. The future there is uncertain, especially for IT. If they are bought, IT will probably be laid off. If they are not bought, the bank could eventually be taken over."

What don't you like about working at Pacific Capital Bancorp?

"Senior Management in some cases is just not competent."
