2.7 Gore has the potential to be great and falls short when it looses site of it's greatest asset, the people. I've been employed over 15 years with friends an family serving 20-30+ years. Depending on your job description, the treatment varies greatly! I'm concerned for Gores tenured Associates in hourly positions. When they become disabled or less capable, there are devastating consequences that can result in termination. The gender and minority pay gap is real, and the hiring process has much to improve when it comes to feedback regarding interviewing. It was also shared with me that Gore hires minorities to meet demographic quotas, especially around leadership.

4.8 Due to tremendous growth of the company I would keep my finger on the pulse more; especially in the medical divisions where the profits are outpacing many of the other industries.

4 I worked for WLGore for 7.5 years. You need to have superior people skills to work in a leadership role. You also need to have patience if the desire to move up in this company is your end game. Culture of the company is what you make it - however - beware that it is not practiced consistently between buildings which can lead to difficulties in practicing the culture at all. Outstanding work/life considerations. given.
